Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of terms

• By creating an account or using Luchoo, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service.
• We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of Luchoo after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.

2. Acceptable use

• Virtual numbers provided by Luchoo are for receiving SMS verification codes only.
• You may not use Luchoo numbers to impersonate any person or organization, send spam, conduct fraud, or engage in any illegal activity.
• You may not use Luchoo to circumvent the abuse-detection or verification systems of any third-party service in a way that violates that service's own terms.
• You may not attempt to reverse-engineer, scrape, or exploit Luchoo's API or infrastructure.
• One account per user. Creating multiple accounts to exploit pricing or promotions is prohibited.
• You're responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity under your account. Notify us promptly at support@luchoo.app of any unauthorized use.

3. Buy and rent numbers

• Buy a number is live today: you purchase a virtual number for a single service verification. Numbers are temporary — they're provided to receive a verification code, not for voice calls or outbound messaging.
• One-time numbers have a limited active window (shown at checkout) to receive a code before the order expires.
• Rent a number — keeping a number reserved for an extended period — is marked “coming soon” and is not currently available for purchase. These terms will be expanded with the specific policies that apply to rentals once that feature launches.
• Luchoo does not guarantee that a given service's verification system will accept a Luchoo number — this depends on that third-party service's own policies, which can change without notice.
• Number and country availability depends on our third-party numbers provider(s) and can change without notice.

4. Wallet and payments

• Your Luchoo wallet balance is denominated in US Dollars (USD).
• Card top-ups are processed via Stripe. Luchoo does not store your card details — they are handled directly by Stripe.
• Mobile money, bank transfer, and crypto top-ups are planned but not yet available (“coming soon”).
• Minimum top-up amount is $2 USD.
• Wallet balances are not redeemable for cash and have no monetary value outside the Luchoo platform.

5. Refund policy

• If you purchase a number and no verification code arrives within the active window shown at checkout, you're entitled to an automatic refund to your wallet.
• No refund is issued once a code has been delivered to your dashboard for that order.
• Wallet top-up payments are non-refundable to your original payment method once credited to your wallet.
• For disputes related to a Stripe payment-processing error, contact support@luchoo.app within 48 hours.

6. Account termination

• You can update your name and password at any time from your account settings. To request deletion of your account, email support@luchoo.app.
• We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms, engage in fraudulent activity, or abuse the platform.
• Upon termination for cause, any remaining wallet balance is forfeited unless the termination was caused by our error.
• We may suspend or terminate access immediately and without prior notice for serious violations.

7. Limitation of liability

• Luchoo is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind. We don't guarantee uninterrupted availability of virtual numbers or verification-code delivery.
• Luchoo is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the platform.
• Our total liability to you for any claim is limited to the amount you paid to Luchoo in the 30 days preceding the claim.

8. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which Luchoo is legally incorporated, to be finalized. This section is a placeholder pending formation of the operating business entity.
